Meet the Team

Dr. Matthew Adams obtained a B.S. in Biology from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, earned his dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, and completed his dental training in 2001. Dr. Adams is an active member of the Georgia Dental Association (GDA) and was the president of the Western District Dental Society. He contributes to the GDA Patient Protection Task Force and represented the organization as a delegate in Washington, DC. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Outside his professional responsibilities, Dr. Adams enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their three children. Whether coaching his son’s soccer team or engaging in physical activity, he leads a busy life. He is also a devoted member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Ivan Warner to our Adams Family & Cosmetic Dentistry practice! With a passion for delivering exceptional dental care and a commitment to building lasting relationships with patients, Dr. Warner is a valuable addition to our team.

Dr. Ivan was born in New York but has lived in Georgia since 2006. He graduated from Dutchtown High School in Henry County and earned two degrees from Emory University in 2020. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he honed his skills in a wide range of dental procedures and developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care. Prior to joining our practice, Dr. Ivan gained valuable experience working closely with the Oral Surgerydepartment at NYU, where they specialized in extractions and bone grafting. Dr. Ivan has also received in-depth hands-on & professional mentorship from our Partner Doctor Chris Anderson of Atlanta, GA since 2018, which has provided exposure to various procedures including implant placement and complex cosmetic cases.

Dr. Ivan is dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and professional development. Following in his mentor’s footsteps, Dr. Ivan also plans to attend the Pankey Institute to further his comprehensive care knowledge. As a member of the American Dental Association, he believes in a holistic approach to dental care, emphasizing not only oral healthcare, but also the overall wellbeing of their patients.

But Dr. Ivan is not just about teeth—he has a lot of interests outside the office as well. When he’s not working, you might find him playing soccer, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or diving into a good history book. He is also passionate about learning new languages and loves building computers in his spare time. We invite you to meet Dr. Ivanand experience his care firsthand.

Following his graduation from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021, Dr. Swartzentruber and his wife, Kendra, moved south in search of warmer weather. They found Columbus, GA and have stayed since. Kendra is a middle school teacher in the Columbus area.

In the office, Dr. Swartzentruber enjoys performing Root Canals, as well as Crown and Bridge work. Since graduating, he has taken training in Implants and has both placed and restored them in office. He enjoys meeting new patients and taking care of their dental needs.

Outside of work he enjoys riding motorcycles, running, and biking on trails in the area.
